Our Purpose

AAFRO stands for the African American Foundations and Roots organization, a club dedicated to honoring the significant contributions and the rich cultural heritage of Generational African Americans.

Our Plans

AAFRO will achieve its goals mainly through programming that engages with the rich African American culture or empowers the community, such as: Soul Food Showdown, Cultural Dance Workshops, Collab(s) with other African Diaspora CLubs, Sickle Cell Blood Drive, and more!

Who’s Welcome?

Similarly to other African diaspora clubs at Tufts, AAFRO welcomes anyone and everyone who is willing to participate and learn about African American culture!
