Soulaan/Soula is another term for African Americans (Descendants of Enslaved people in the United States). The term comes from parts of African American culture like; soul food, soul music, etc. It works to create a sense of shared identity for people who identify as African American.

SoulAAn Nation strives to foster a safe space for the African American community at Cornell and culturally enlighten the larger community through events, educational seminars, publications, and outreach programs.
